US Department of Veterans Affairs

The US department of Veterans affairs offers a program for homeless veterans. If you are a Veteran who is homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, we strongly encourage you to contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans

US Department of Agriculture

You served our country proudly and honorably, and we want to inform you that through our nutrition programs, you may be eligible for assistance to ensure you, your family, and fellow veterans have the assistance to ensure you have nutritious meals. SNAP households included 22,000 active duty service members, 213,000 members of the National Guard or reservists, and 1.1 million veterans.

Geriatrics and Extended Care

State Veterans Homes are facilities that provide nursing home, domiciliary or adult day care. They are owned, operated and managed by state governments. They date back to the post-Civil War era when many states created them to provide shelter to disabled and homeless Veterans.
